Manchester’s reputation as a sporting city is second to none, and its sporting history is long and proud, from various victories in football to the recent 2002 Commonwealth Games.

A visit to the city is not complete without a trip to Old Trafford – home to Manchester United, the most famous football team in the world. Sportcity is home to the National Squash Centre, Manchester’s Table Tennis Centre and the superb National Cycling Centre – featuring the world’s fastest cycling track.
