Environmental Policy Statement

We hereby make the following commitment to reduce our effect on the environment.

As a ‘Green Hotel’ our commitments will be to:

• Reduce our energy consumption through measures such as increased energy efficiency.
• Create less waste by using waste reduction measures and by recycling.
• Meet all the regulatory and consent requirements relevant to our hotel business.
• Consider local purchasing and travelling distance for suppliers to reach us. We also expect ‘Green’ standards from suppliers and contractors.
• Keep up to standard with maintenance on the hotel.
• Educate our staff and customers on ‘Green Issues’ and involve them in helping our business become more friendly to the environment.
• We liaise with the local community on environmental issues.
• Encourage staff to manage our premises in an environmentally and sensitive manner.

We hope and aim to incorporate these environmental issues into the running of the business. Us as staff and you as the guest can help achieve this.
